PromptsBuddy is not a content operation with a comments section. Everything published here came from someone who relies on it, and the review process exists to keep that true.

Four ways in

Contribute a prompt

The main way in. If you've got something you use most weeks, it probably belongs here — with your name on it.

Read the bar

Write for the blog

We publish field notes from people maintaining prompts in production. Pitch a paragraph, not a full draft.

Pitch an idea

Come on the podcast

One person's real workflow, taken apart properly. Every kind of job, not just tech.

Put yourself forward

Just read along

One email a week, no obligation to contribute anything. Most of the community is here and that's fine.

How we run it

Names, not scores

No upvotes, no leaderboards, no streaks. Ranking by popularity produces a library optimised for screenshots rather than for the ninth time you use something.

A human runs every prompt

Cold, on inputs the author didn't supply, on at least two models. It's slow and it's the entire product.

Limitations stay in

Every prompt carries a note on where it falls down. Removing those would make the library look better and be worse.

Disagreement is welcome, in public

If a prompt is wrong, say so in an issue. Corrections are contributions and get credited the same way.

The weekly drop

Three prompts worth stealing, one essay, one episode. Written by a person, sent on Thursdays, easy to leave.

Sign-ups open shortly. In the meantime, email us and we'll add you by hand.
